A Gift of Love

Many thanks to Dawn for letting us preserve and custom frame her special wedding dress heirloom. The elegant dress was worn by her mother in 1952. When framing a textile, we do no harm to the garment. Yep, no glue, tape, or other nonreversible techniques. Careful hand stitching and placement allowed stability yet kept movement in the dress. The wedding dress is preserved and will be cherished for many years to come.

The best part was the unveiling of the finished piece to Dawn - priceless!

We can’t wait to hear about the unveiling with Dawn’s parents.
